Employer Description

A Canada Transit eTA is an electronic travel authorisation used by eligible visa-exempt travellers who are flying through Canada on their way to another country. An eTA can allow an eligible traveller to transit through a Canadian airport without applying for a visitor visa. However, the exact document required depends on your nationality, passport and travel plans. Travellers from eTA-required countries generally need an eTA when travelling by air, including when transiting through Canada. It is linked electronically to the passport used during the application, so travellers should check that their passport number is entered correctly. Most eTA applications are processed within minutes, although some may take several days if additional information is requested.
